We work with a range of organisations across our city, helping those moving into empty properties or sleeping on floors.
How to get a referral
If you’re working with a professional who knows your situation, they can refer you. This includes:
- Support workers
- Housing officers
- Social workers
- Midwives
- Professionals from other agencies, such as Citizens’ Advice
- We sometimes accept referrals from schools and churches
We don’t accept referrals from
- Friends
- Family

- Baby equipment
After you’ve been referred
Once we have contacted your support worker to say we can help, you have two weeks to come and collect your items with family, a friend or hiring a van. Most of our items are secondhand.
Visit us & opening times
If you have confirmed with your support worker that we have completed your referral, you can collect on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 10am-12pm. We are also open on the first and third Saturday of the month from 10:00-12:00.
